Música Española!

What's poppin' vibers!

Earlier today I was relaxing in my bed eating some Pringles while listening to "Imitadora" by Romeo Santos. Even though "listening" is an understatement since I played it on repeat 30 times. Only after the 30th time did I jump up and realize I needed to update my blog! So I flung my Chromebook screen open and here I am. The reason why Santos' voice reminded me of my blog is because as said in my previous post, this week I will be giving my readers some insight on my Spanish music taste including artists I might not talk about. I'm also throwing in a few songs that are more closely involved in my Spanish culture... Long live the Dominican Republic!

First up we have the very infamous, good looking, and foreign star, Bad Bunny. Even non-Hispanic people love Bad Bunny! Sometimes referred to as the "King of Latin Trap", Benito Antonio Martinez is a 29 year old rapper and singer from Almirante Sur, Puerto Rico. He has won a couple Grammy awards plus some others, and is rising to the top more and more each year.

Next up, probably my all time favorite Hispanic artist to ever exist, the ange;ic voice of Jay Wheeler. Legally born Jose Angel Lopez Martinez, now a 29 year old singer - songwriter born in Salinas, Puerto Rico. Also happily to his wife, Zhamira, this is probably why Wheeler's love songs hit me harder than a boulder. I don't really know, something about his voice and his heartfelt way with words make me sway, I hope he makes y'all feel like that too.

Finally, the most lit you could ever go as far as Spanish music. These songs are beyond popular ones that are played at every Dominican party and household. Even though Bad Bunny is not Dominican, he makes a lot of Dominican styled (beats) music, it goes very fast, it includes a lot of rap and other cultures, and an extremely loud bass!
